ReelsWP - Upload UGC & Shoppable Videos Reels

Introduction

This documentation will guide you through the process of uploading and installing the ReelsWP - Upload UGC & Shoppable Videos Reels plugin to your WordPress website. Prerequisites

Before proceeding with the installation, please ensure you have the following:

• WordPress Version: 6.0 or higher
• PHP Version: 7.4 or higher

Install and Activate ReelsWP

• 1. From your WordPress Dashboard, navigate to the Plugins section.
• 2. Click on the Add New Plugin
• 3. In the top right click on Upload Plugin
• 4. Now choose plugin file reels-wp.zip from your computer or laptop
• 5. Click on Install Now button

After the installation is complete, click the Activate button to enable the plugin.

Create Reel and Show

In this video, we’ll show you how to create a reel for your website step by step. We’ll also show you how to add it to your site using a shortcode.

Edit Reel and Style

In this video, we’ll show you how to edit an existing story, add multiple stories to it, and remove them if needed. You’ll also learn how to style your stories by customizing their shape (circle or rectangle), border color, border width, top and bottom spacing, column gap, and size. It’s easy to follow and helps you make your stories look great!

Add Text To Reel

This video will quickly guide you on how to add text or captions to your story, style them, and easily move them to different positions by simply dragging.

Add Image To Reel

This video provides a quick tutorial on how to add an image to a specific video or image reel and move it to different positions by simply dragging.

Add Button To Reel

This video provides a quick tutorial on how to create an action button or shoppable link in your video or image reel and customize its style, including background and text color. Additionally, it shows how to track button stats, such as the number of clicks it receives.

ReelsWP Settings

ReelsWP Settings allow you to control how many actions a user can perform within a specified timeframe. These settings are designed to enhance your website's performance and prevent misuse or spam-like behavior from users.

Rate Limit

• What it does: This sets the maximum number of actions (such as viewing a story or clicking a button) a user can perform within the specified time frame.
• How to set it: Enter a number in the "Rate Limit" field. For example, if you set this to 3, a user can perform up to 3 actions within the time limit you set.

Time Limit (minutes)

• What it does: This defines the timeframe (in minutes) during which the rate limit applies.
• How to set it: Enter the desired number of minutes in the "Time Limit" field. For example, if you set this to 1, the rate limit will reset every 1 minutes.

If you set the Rate Limit to 3 and the Time Limit to 1, each user will be allowed up to 3 actions every 1 minutes. After the 1 minutes pass, their action count will reset.
